A social media friend and I recently did a shared breathing/mindfullness/Tonglen session together remotely— kinda different but very helpful! We’re both kinda hybrid Buddhists, so we’ve connected well. And it’s motivated me to get back to nightly metta practice as well!
Great essay, and wonderful proposal! I’m trying to hang in at this point, not let the national insanity drive me over the edge! Thanks for your inspiring words! I do hope many will be able to step into those roles as this thing unfolds.
So far, I get paid in lots of horse hugs, some monetary compensation, and tons of hard work on the farm... It's all good, and a meaningful purpose for me. :)
