Maia, the Arundhati Roy quote moved me deeply. I know you didn't write it, but you shared it, and I thank you for that. I've copied it into my journal and placed a library hold on the book. I'm not sure how the quote will effect me going forward but I feel a newfound inspiration to write about a world of peace, no matter how naive my writings may sound. And maybe even create some other types of art that "mock" empire.
